MSFC magnetograms (click on images for larger version): (a) the line-of-sight component of the field with contours at ±2500, ±2000, ±1500, ±1000, ±500, ±100, ±10 Gauss; (b) the transverse component of the field with contours at 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, and 1400 Gauss; (c) the photospheric intensity with contours of 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000; (d) tickmarks representing the direction of the transverse component of the field (min = 150 Gauss, max = 500 Gauss), overlay contours of the line-of-sight at ±10, ±500, and ±1500 Gauss

The Shear Plot:  + and * represent areas where shear is large.  Contours are of the line-of-sight component of the field.
