The Physics and Astronomy Division is responsible to the Director of the Space Sciences Laboratory and the NASA Associate Administrator for Space Science, to plan, coordinate, direct, and conduct world-class scientific research in the disciplines of Astrophysics, Solar Physics, Space Plasma Physics. The Division supports the Center's scientific and engineering activities, coordinates the development of scientific objectives and missions, and provides science leadership in the application of new developments in science and technology to Marshall programs.
